Since Phoenix Waste only works on residential projects, we are aware of the specific needs related to homes. Modern waste management practices are driven by laws and regulation and the need to have sustainable waste management solutions that will continue long into the future.
We allow our dumpster customers to place appliances, Refrigerators, stoves and similar items in a dumpster as part of their load. However, we ask that they be placed in the dumpster last so that we can remove them from the dumpster prior to it being delivered to the landfill. These items are no longer allowed in the landfill and sustainable practices require us to send them to a recycler. Appliances using refrigerant or Freon must be processed prior to being sent to a recycling facility. This requires us to remove oils, refrigerant, and other restricted materials from the item prior to shipping them. Appliances that require environmental processing usually have $30.00 additional fee.
We also will pick up appliances by appointment for a fee.
Talk to us and we usually have a solution for restricted waste. It just can't be shipped to the landfill or fine will be incurred.
